How to Enter and Win
You must be 18 years or older, be a resident of Texas and possess a valid Texas I.D. to enter this raffle and be able to claim the prize should your name be selected as the winner.
Raffle tickets are one (1) for $25, three (3) for $50, or ten (10) for $100, and are available for purchase only during the Raffle Period beginning August 28, 2022 and ending October 7, 2022, at 11:55 pm.
All net proceeds of the Raffle will benefit TEXAS YES Project, San Antonio Food Bank, Central Texas Food Bank & North Texas Food Bank.
To enter, go to GasandGroceriesforLife.com to purchase raffle tickets. You will need to have a valid debit or credit card, cash and checks will not be accepted. Successfully complete the online raffle registration form with your name, address, phone number, email address, credit card payment information, and click submit. No mechanically reproduced or incomplete entries will be accepted or be eligible. No mail-in or manual raffle purchases are allowed.
For each raffle ticket purchased, the person whose name and information is listed on the entry form will receive one (1) entry into the raffle drawing. Raffle tickets will be issued as entries are received up until the declared entry deadline.
Raffle tickets cannot be re-sold or given away to another person or party. Only the registered name on the winning entry that is drawn will be allowed to claim the grand prize. Odds of Winning are based upon the total number of raffle entries purchased during the stated raffle period.
Raffle Prizes: Two (2) eligible Grand Prize winners will EACH receive the grand prize of $50,000 in supermarket, American Express or Visa gift cards, and $25,000 in gas, American Express, or Visa gift cards. Total prize value for EACH Grand Prize Winner is $75,000. In addition, Two (2) eligible winners in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Austin and Dallas/Ft. Worth will receive the second place prize of a Weber Grill, Model: Genesis II E-335 Natural Gas. Eight (8) total second place prizes will be given out. Value; $980.00. The winners will be selected by a random drawing that will be televised and announced on WOAI-TV on October 13, 2022 during the 10 pm News. There is no cash alternative prize available as per Texas state law and the selected winner must agree to accept the prize within 14 days of notification which may be done via phone, email, text, or U.S. Post Office. If the selected winner fails to claim their prize within 14 days, for whatever reason, they will forfeit the prize and an alternate winner can be selected.
The winner is solely responsible for any and all federal taxes, city, county & state sales taxes and fees in connection with winning the prize. Approximately $18,000 in federal withholding taxes (24%), will be paid to TEXAS YES Project. The winner must sign and complete a federal W-9 form and W-2G based on the estimated retail value of the gift cards being awarded no later than October 31, 2022. Any federal withholding taxes must be paid to TEXAS YES Project upon delivery of the prize and no later than October 31, 2022. The winner cannot assign the prize to another person for any reason.
TEXAS YES and its affiliated sponsors and marketing partners reserve the right to substitute the raffle prize for whatever reason, if necessary.
Employees and family members of TEXAS YES Project, San Antonio Food Bank, Central Texas Food Bank & North Texas Food Bank, officers and employees of raffle sponsors, marketing partners, and affiliated marketing agencies, employees of The PM Group, Noisy Trumpet Digital Marketing & PR Agency, Quarter Moon Productions and employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., San Antonio Television, LLC dba WOAI-TV, KABB-TV, KMYS-TV are ineligible to enter and win the raffle prize.

Officers and employees of raffle sponsors, marketing partners, and affiliated marketing agencies, employees of The PM Group, Noisy Trumpet Digital Marketing & PR Agency, Quarter Moon Productions and employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., San Antonio Television, LLC dba WOAI-TV, KABB-TV, KMYS-TV are not responsible for lost, late, garbled, or misdirected entries, printing errors, server unavailability, computer or any other electronic malfunction. Any entries received that are duplicate, mutilated, tampered with, incorrect, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of TEXAS YES Project and will not be acknowledged or returned.
The gift card raffle prizes (detailed above) are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranty of any kind other than the standard warranty or protection. The $75,000 in gift cards or the second place Weber grills cannot be exchanged for cash, check or credit. Please treat the gift cards like cash; if any card is lost or stolen it will not be replaced.
Each winner must sign and return a release and must show photo identification to claim his/her prize. TEXAS YES Project reserves the right to require additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding any prize based on the identification presented. This release will also allow TEXAS YES Project, and marketing partners to share the winners’ name, voice recording, video appearance and photo likeness for any and all marketing and publicity purposes as it may deem desirable to communicate the winner of the raffle and future raffles. This includes postings on social media sites such as TEXAS YES Project, San Antonio Food Bank, Central Texas Food Bank & North Texas Food Bank and their affiliated entities to promote and communicate their non-profit activities and organizational information.
For the name of the raffle prize winner, go to GasandGroceriesforLife.com any time after October 13, 2022 or send a separate, self-addressed, stamped return envelope to TEXAS YES Project, 7550 IH-10 West, Suite 150, San Antonio, Texas 78229 within thirty (30) days of the last day of the raffle entry period.
The raffle decisions made by TEXAS YES Project (raffle organizer), The PM Group, Sinclair Television Group, its officers, employees, sponsors, marketing partners, and their family members are final. All raffle entrants accept this provision as a condition of their entry into this charitable raffle.
This raffle is being held by the TEXAS YES Project, a dba of SA YES, a registered 501(c (3) nonprofit according to the terms of the Charitable Raffle Enabling Act, is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
